Yet again mother nature confined us to the river for another day filled with fun and excitement for the River Halibut. On this trip, we had guys from the Little Rocky Hill Fire Dept on board for the adventure. The bait was cut, rigs were baited and bucktails bounced. It was a beautiful day on the river, but an angry sea kept boats from leaving. We tried numerous drifts up and down several sections of the river. The heroic efforts by the firemen yielded a grand total of 71 fluke on the day, with high hooks in the boating fish in the teens.
