The Fintastic is one of the few  charter boats on the Jersey Shore that is inspected and certified by the US Coast Guard(USCG) to carry more than 6 anglers.  Every year the Fintastic goes through a rigorous inspection by the USCG to ensure that everything is in perfect working order to provide you with a safe and comfortable vessel.

While most charters boats can accommodate only six passengers, the  Fintastic is certified for up to 26 cruisers, 12 inshore anglers or 8 offshore anglers, enabling you to assemble the ideal fishing trip at a lower cost.

Our crew will tailor your trip to maximize your group’s comfort and enjoyment.  While the Fintastic’s reputation for finding the fish makes us a favorite among seasoned, hard-core anglers, our crew always looks forward to introducing a newcomer to the great sport of fishing. Fintastic charters begin running in late April in Raritan Bay/Sandy Hook area for striped bass. In June we follow the bite to Point Pleasant, where we fish inshore for fluke, striped bass, bluefish, and offshore for tuna , sharks and swordfish.
